Dear Chief Constable,
Subject: Easy public access: Police and other pertinent, ‘unrescricted’, public
domain docs for elderly abuse enquirants I am a 67 year old ‘donkey’ ( see site url below) recently returned from lengthy periods abroad and out of touch with you all. I am having problems with a ….Edited out here.. personal interest para………. Cambridgeshire Police Special Unit seem hampered, nice blokes though. SS, Peterboro CC and OPG. Local Centralised Advisory service too - all now involved. I began to scream out in March 2012, a bit late. So I have a grip for now. So! Looking at Police docs, HR, abuse and all that, for the definitive Police and inter agency framework to guide you and us in handling this type of hassle. I’d like to know more, quickly if I can. What can I do? How could you help? One or two pointers. Do you have a National forum, a get together, on subject of HR, getting messages re abuse over to old people? Do you liaise and integrate policy on elderly abuse stuff? Why, across the Force are docs disparate? Is that so? Is there access to any general summary, discussion, aims, aspirations, objectives, what succeeds, what fails, problems with implementation of .. Police docs on abuse or HR, all that kind of stuff? I am not from Tunbridge Wells, I have a young (45) energetic second wife, a lovely vivacious 9 yr old daughter and two vulnerable parents, a lot on. I don’t want to bug you, I am genuinely interested in this as a possible sort of ‘project’ for me.
